Middle DevOps engineer Offline

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Middle DevOps Engineer to join the team of our customer — a trading software company and contribute to the success of the project. You will work closely with the back-end (Python) and front-end (Next.js) teams, along with direct communication with a Product Owner.

Responsibilities:

- Utilize AWS services, particularly Lambda, RDS, CDK, and other related technologies, to architect and implement robust and scalable solutions;

- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate the deployment process and ensure efficient delivery of software;

- Perform database migrations and ensure data integrity across different environments;

- Engage in infrastructure as code (IaC) practices using tools like CloudFormation or CDK to manage and provision AWS resources;

- Actively participate in troubleshooting and debugging issues related to deployments, ensuring quick resolution to minimize downtime;

- Be an active team member to and engage in constructive communication;

- Engage with other team members to understand deployment requirements able to deal with complexity and communicate effectively;

- Be able to communicate in non-technical terms to weigh pros and cons with theproduct owner.

Qualifications:

- 3-4 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, with a strong focus on AWS services;

- Proficient in scripting languages, especially Python (would be a plus);

- Solid understanding of CI/CD practices and tools;

- AWS CDK experience is a must!

- Experience with websockets/queues like SQS/SNS;

- Expertise in database migrations, particularly with RDS;

- Strong familiarity with serverless architecture and AWS Lambda;

- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts in non-technical terms;

- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and handle complex deployment scenarios;

- English — Upper-Intermediate and higher;

- Start date — ASAP.
