Senior iOS Engineer (offline)

WorkHQ is a well-funded, Series A US start-up building an all-in-one recruiting platform. We are currently in product-market fit stage, meaning we rapidly prototype different features for our new customers and to adapt to their needs; we're not focusing on technical excellency at this moment.

This job posting is for our staffing service - WorkHQ Talent for a US-based client. Our client is working on developing an iOS app related to travel planning. As a Senior iOS Engineer you will have responsibility for the app development and coordinate with the US team.

Must be able to speak English to pass the interviews :)

Experience

5+ years experience with iOS development

Excellent knowledge of Swift

Experience with Firebase

Required

- Experience building scalable iOS apps

- Collaborative with focus on iterative and fast delivery approach

- Comfortable working async and using productivity tools like Slack

- Willingness to have some hours of overlap with US hours

- Experience working in a fast paced and dynamic environment

- Must be self-directed and able to work independently on tasks

Nice to have

- Experience working remotely with US-based clients or teams

- Experience with developing first iterations of iOS apps

- Experience with automated unit and UI tests
