Full Stack Ruby Developer (offline)

We are working on a branding market solution allowing designers and customers to find each other. We use Ruby on Rails, Node.js, Angular, RxJS, Typescript, Konva.js.

The customer is very open to new ideas and always takes the opinion of our experts into account.

We’re a group of branding fanatics building the platform that helps both designers and small businesses to work efficiently.

Responsibilities:
- Design separate components, modules, classes, database tables, etc.
- Perform coding and debugging
- Investigate current and new solutions
- Participate in peer code and design reviews
- Participate in estimation and planning sessions
- Report status and progress according to the project and company demands
- Explore front-end and back-end parts of the web application to be able to solve business problems and take responsibility for the result
- Be ready to scale services and find bottlenecks
- Solve puzzles and work by yourself without micromanagement and direct control

Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in Ruby on Rails development
- Strong knowledge in databases
- Basics knowledge Node.js
- Basic experience with server configuration
- Fonts and SVGs (knowledge about their work)
- Good software design skills
- Strong analytical skills
- At least Intermediate/Upper-intermediate level of English
WOULD BE A PLUS:
- Experience with NoSQL databases (Redis)
- Experience with ElasticSearch
