Firmware Engineer (Automotive) (offline)

You are best equipped for this job if you have:


β€” A university degree in Computer science, Microelectronics or comparable
β€” At least 6 years of experience in embedded C software engineering
β€” Knowledge of Cortex M Assembler (or at least knowledge of 8051Assembler)
β€” Experienced in development of firmware architecture and design
β€” Advanced knowledge of MCU architecture/operation (interrupts, bootloaders, IPC etc.) and communication peripherals (CAN, LIN, SPI etc.). Knowledge of ARM cortex architecture would be a benefit
β€” Basic knowledge of the cryptography and corresponding algorithms (AES, SHA-1, RSA)
β€” Knowledge of Auto SPICE, cybersecurity concepts, and functional safety for embedded systems would be a significant benefit
β€” A process-oriented way of working with a focus on improvement
β€” Outstanding communication skills with an advanced English level
β€” Stress resistant and out-of-the box thinking capability

In this position you’re participating in embedded firmware development (highly-reliable safe and secure firmware located in SROM for boot and configuration of MCU) from the definition to the final release for integration in Automotive microcontrollers.
You shall participate in development of detailed architecture, product, safety and cybersecurity requirements, detailed design, and technical communication towards management, customers and between cross-functional partners to meet Automotive level quality of boot firmware with an efficient cost.

β€” Monitoring of development progress as well as continuous controlling of the project risks and regular reporting to management team

β€” Contribution to the quality of design work products by reviews and approvals
β€” Driving of continuous improvement of quality and cost reduction
