Delivery Manager (offline)

The Delivery Manager (Manager II, Development) will manage a team of Individual Contributors across a spectrum of technical roles as well as retailer-facing roles. In this position, the manager will build a relationship of trust with direct reports that include coaching, developing, and managing employee performance. The Delivery Manager will also partner with development and product teams to plan and deliver on network dependencies necessary for product roadmaps


Your Team

There are five people on the team. You will report directly to the Director. The Printables & Add Ons team builds a bunch of high-load products on Python and JS while also using numerous other advanced technologies. Our services manage and handle a high number of transactions each month


How We Work

Our daily work is based on DevOps and XP practices — TDD, Automation Testing, CI/CD. There are daily stand-up meetings, sprint planning, reviews, demo sessions, and retrospective meetings


Meet operational goals and customer commitments for a community or communities. Goals may take the form of targets related to need-by-dates, task completion by headcount, quality goals, etc. Meeting these goals is a combination of contributing directly to tasks as well as influencing and directing how work should be executed through a community (sub-team) of team members

Monitor delivery trends and execute updates to resourcing, process, and other means to address issues where risk is identified

Deliver excellence goals as measured by duration for task/code completion (time to value), meeting product roadmap and GTM needs and goals, customer satisfaction results, and network growth goals

Understand product roadmap for a product or products, build understanding with key product and development team members of product impacts on network builds and maintenance. Use this understanding to advocate for solution approaches that minimize the network impact of product updates and/or improve network growth efficiencies

Partner with other SPS internal teams to identify and develop cross-team interactions and tool/process efficiency gains for SPS products or multiple products

Build a strong team culture centered on passion for delivering customer value and innovation

Collaborate with other delivery managers and individual contributors across multiple geographies — need to be flexible in meeting times and communication methods to be successful



3-5 years of relevant experience with demonstrated leadership/influence success at the team or department level

Highly collaborative with the ability to successfully manage multiple initiatives

Proven ability to engage cross-functionally on a regional and international level

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Adaptable and responsive to change with an ability to refocus efforts into positive outcomes
