Lead Quality Assurance Analyst (offline)

THE ROLE

We have a great opportunity for an experienced Lead Quality Assurance Analyst to join us in Kiev, Ukraine. Reporting directly to the Operations Director, you will be leading a team of QA engineers working on Drupal & Magento digital applications. You will have to maintain and improve QA processes, scale existing or introduce new test automation frameworks in line with the test strategy. You should have a proven track record in manual testing & automated testing, have an excellent understanding of SDLC in Agile, and have strong team management skills.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Create test documentation for all test purposes and processes
Perform manual and automated testing on a key project
Figure out what skills are needed and balance the test resources accordingly with those needs based.
Identify the tools for test reporting, test management, test automation, etc. and educate the team as required to be able to use those tools.
Define, create and share between team members unique Test Strategy for each new project
Responsible for end-product quality and has to inform stakeholders in case of any critical or blocker issues before production release
Communicate and discuss project related questions with Product Owners and Software Developers in order to achieve better project understanding within the team
Defect tracking and prioritization, troubleshoot and isolate problems
Working with developers to explain and resolve issues
Usage of bug tracking Database (Jira) including logging, re-testing and closing issues
Conducting a full range of functional & non-functional testing
Writing, executing and maintaining automation tests

REQUIRED PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

5+ years' experience in Quality Assurance.
Experience in developing and implementing manual and automation test strategy for the entire organisation
Excellent understanding of SDLC & QA Processes
Experience with automation tools such as Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, Maven or similar
Performance testing experience using JMeter tool
Experience using Magento & Drupal would be an advantage
ISTQB certification would be an advantage
Positive outlook, and able to effectively receive and communicate feedback
Results-oriented and process driven, with high expectations of self and team
Strong communication and leadership skills. Able to communicate information accurately and effectively
Advanced spoken and written English is a must for this position
