Senior JavaScript Developer/Team Lead (offline)

This role will be responsible for working with the development and other teams to build out new features and improve existing ones, contribute to technical excellence and professional growth of other team members.

CUSTOMER
We work with a European Customer, who is expanding services of the Product to new markets. Together we develop a platform for users to find and book accommodations, rent cars, and order various tourist services. With this platform, even the most experienced tourists can satisfy all their needs and find options that would fit them based on unique reviews and detailed information.

PROJECT

On this project, we use such development practices as Technical Design Reviews, Code Reviews, Coding Standards, Unit Testing, Continuous Integration, Testing By Developer, Gated Checkins, etc.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Take ownership of the front-end development
Become a core person in the front-end team
Introduce best development approaches and drive technical improvements
Communicate with the Customer on a regular basis to clarify/approve technical decisions
Create and review a high quality, testable code following clean code principles
Lead the Development of new features using React JS
Refactor the existing components in the platform, according to the needs of the business
Analyze the requirements and estimate the effort

REQUIREMENTS
At least 5 years of commercial experience in web development
Solid knowledge of pure JavaScript
Solid experience with React
Production experience in unit tests creation (using js-frameworks and mock libraries)
Experience as a team leader
At least Intermediate level of English
Readiness to show examples of source code and developed apps
Experience in responsive web development using HTML5, CSS3 for mobile and tablet devices
Experience in working with Storybook is a plus
