Senior/Lead Java Engineer (offline)

We're looking for a rock-star quality Java engineer who is excited to learn about our US client entire ecosystems of technologies. You will be working as a high-level external consultant for a big enterprise that provides technology and business services for a huge number of telecommunications companies. This is the opportunity to utilize your skills at the top influential plane of the company and express your knowledge and rich experience to a wide audience that will affect many products and their end users.

Responsibilities:
Research and evaluate technical options to implement business requirements
Provide system or technical development expertise to the team
Define high-level architecture; derive software modules with the integration interfaces
Write quality, maintainable code with extensive test coverage in a fast-paced professional software engineering environment
Provide effort estimations
Work in close contact with team members and project stakeholders on customer’s site
Suggest technical and functional improvements to add value to the product.

Required skills:
5+ years of extensive Java development (Web, back-end)
Knowledge of good architecture approaches
Work experience with Kafka
Microservices architecture
Experience with big data, and a large number of computations
Experience of tuning performance of the application
SQL and NoSQL DB skills
Good knowledge of technologies available in the market, be able to provide a detailed explanation of the pros and cons
Upper-intermediate level of English
Strong negotiation skill
Good analytic skill

Would be a plus:
Docker
Kubernetes
Experience with telecom domain
