Kernel Software Developer (offline)

Job Description:
- Duties: Linux drivers and Kernel modules developments for Samsung TV and Mobile Phones
- design, develop, build, debug, test, profile Linux Kernel modules for Android and Tizen devices
- Kernel-level security solutions development
- research activities and strategic prototyping for future Samsung products

Major Requirements:
- knowledge of C, Kernel API, building and testing Linux or Windows Kernel modules
- debugging and profiling in the Kernel space
- deep knowledge of Linux or Windows kernel architecture and operation (IPC, interrupts, memory etc.)
- understanding of Kernel file system architecture, driver frameworks, task scheduling
- at least Bachelor degree, good technical English

Optional Requirements:
- experience with periphery drivers development
- knowledge of Linux Security architecture (MAC/DAC, SE, LSM, Android/Tizen security models)
- knowledge of ARM technology (TrustZone, NEON, VFP, Thumb, GIC, MMU/MPU)
- experience with virtualization (XeN/KVM/QEMU), MMU/MPU, bootloaders
- applied cryptography (authentication & authorization protocols, crypto algs.)
