Big Data Developer (Java or Scala) (offline)

About the project:
AgileLab is Italian R&D company focused on the development of Big Data and AI Applications. They operate in different business sectors and work with well-known big companies on the Italian market (e.g. Unicredit, Brembo).

AgileLab provides essentially BigData services or platforms, IoT environments, analytical platforms, etc. They are very specialized in BigData and machine learning.

AgileLab doesn’t do T&M projects. The company takes full responsibility for the solution instead. They develop a high- and low-level architecture of the solution, appoint a Team Leader and build teams according to the client’s goals from scratch.

We are looking for Big Data Developer who will be working for one of our client`s project with the following technologies: Apache NiFi, Scala, Spark and some NoSQL techs (HBase, HDFS, Ignite, for instance). You will work only with Back End and 90% of a new code.

Requirements:
- Excellent knowledge of Java (much better if you know Scala)
- Excellent knowledge of Hadoop and Spark (main framework) stack
- Excellent knowledge of theoretical Computer Science principles
- Good knowledge of the most common design patterns
- Good knowledge of operating systems (Linux, Ubuntu, etc)
- Experience with microservice architecture
- Experience with Cloudera-based products
- Experience with some NoSQL techs (HBase, HDFS, Ignite, MongoDB, Cassandra for instance).
- Master Degree (Computer Science or Computer Science Engineering)
- Upper-Intermediate English language (written and spoken).

Will be a plus:
- Python programming skills
- Experience with Apache NiFi, Apache Flink
