Project Manager/Scrum Master (offline)

Project Description:
Our new customer is a venture production studio building decentralized applications and various developer and end-user tools for blockchain ecosystems, primarily focused on Ethereum. Their "hub" coordinates, incubates, accelerates and spawns "spoke" ventures through development, resource sharing, acquisitions, investments and the formation of joint ventures. These spokes benefit from foundational components that enable new services and business models to be built on the blockchain.

Responsibilities:
The Project manager will be responsible for leading one or a few projects and will be main a point of contact between Customer and Development team.
Project manager will collect project requirements, create resource plan and project schedule, take part in hiring process, analyze project risks and lead risk management activities, set up and maintain effective communication between project stakeholders, work together with team leaders to eliminate all bottlenecks, track project progress on daily basis. PM will also act as a Scrum Master, handling daily Scrum rituals.

• Lead development process within given project team/teams
• Lead daily Scrum rituals
• Facilitate team on requirements gathering; be involved in analysis and planning
• Control velocity and scope progress
• Setup and follow effective risk management procedures
• Make sure team works as whole, not being disturbed by external activities
• Work together with Technical Leads to get all need resources and ensure high quality
• Keep clear and effective communication internally and externally
• Manage Stakeholders and ensure high level of Customer expectations match
• Lead and mentor team to follow best practices in terms of process, product, technology and culture
• Report projects progress on weekly basis

Mandatory Skills:
• Solid understanding of engineering practices and SDLC
• 4+ years of experience as PM with international accounts
• 1+ years of experience as SM. Experience with Scaled Scrum would be a plus
• Experience in managing teams of 20+ people
• Proven commercial experience with pool of short-term projects going in parallel
• Hands on knowledge & experience in Agile (Scrum\Kanban) methodologies. Strong practitioner of Atlassian products
• Requirements management, experience in building project roadmaps
• Experience in staffing and people management
• Risk management, conflict management
• High self-motivation and ability to motivate others
• Proactive, results-oriented personality
• Strong problem solving skills
• Excellent written and spoken communication
• English - advanced

Desirable
• Software developer or BA background
• Knowledge of blockchain domain
• Professional Scrum Master certified
• Experience in business and\or system analysis
• BS or MS in Management or Engineering.
• Experience and understanding of Lean Start-up, working in start-up project is a plus

Nice-to-Have Skills:
Scaled Scrum frameworks hands-on experience
