Junior Data Analyst (Validator)

Your responsibilities:
-Periodic review, validation and maintenance of credit risk forecasting models for Retail and Micro business segments used in accordance with regulatory requirements (Basel, IFRS9)
-Periodic review, validation and support of statistical models for business and other needs
-Participation in model development projects, acting as an expert on model validation, regulatory requirements and Group guidelines
-Preparation of regular reports on the quality of model performance, in-depth analysis of model results to identify any anomalies or discrepancies
-Presentation of research results
-Collaboration with other relevant teams to identify potential model deficiencies and suggest improvements to the models
-Continuous engagement and familiarization with industry standards and best practices in model development and validation

Preferred qualifications:
-University degree in finance, economics, mathematics or IT
-Experience with SQL
-Understanding of the main stages and types of machine learning models
-Knowledge of mathematical statistics
-English level B2+ (Upper Intermediate)
-Ability to communicate and present effectively

Will be a plus:
-Knowledge of SAS/ R/ Python
-Experience with the NBU Resolution "Regulation on the organization of risk management system in Ukrainian banks and banking groups"
-Practical skills in working with version control (GIT)
-Experience with Power BI

Що ви будете робити:
-Періодичне рев’ю, валідація та супроводження моделей прогнозування кредитних ризиків для сегментів фізичних осіб та Мікро бізнесу, що використовуються відповідно до регулятивних вимог (Basel, IFRS9)
-Періодичне рев’ю, валідація та супроводження статистичних моделей, орієнтованих на бізнес та інші потреби
-Участь у проектах розробки моделей, в ролі експерта щодо валідації моделі, нормативних вимог та директив Групи
-Підготовка регулярних звітів щодо якості роботи моделей, поглиблений аналіз результатів моделі, для виявлення будь-яких аномалій чи розбіжностей
-Презентація результатів досліджень
-Співпраця з іншими дотичними командами, з метою виявлення потенційних недоліків моделі та пропозицій щодо вдосконалення моделей
-Постійне залучення та ознайомлення з галузевими стандартами і найкращими практиками у розробці та перевірці моделей

Необхідні знання та досвід:
-Вища фінансово-економічна, математична або IT освіта
-Досвід роботи з SQL
-Розуміння основних етапів та типів моделей машинного навчання
-Знання математичної статистики
-Level of English B2+ (Upper Intermediate)
-Здатність ефективної комунікації та презентації

Буде перевагою:
-Знання SAS/ R/ Python
-Досвід роботи з постановою НБУ «Положення про організацію системи управління ризиками в банках України та банківських групах»
-Практичні навички роботи з контролем версій (GIT)
