Video Editor (US-Based Marketing Agency) to $1000

Roadside Dental Marketing is an established marketing agency designing the BEST dental websites in the industry (we’ve been around since before Google was a verb!)

We’re a group of self-professed nerds who LOVE identifying ways to help our clients succeed online. We’re seeking a remote Video Editor to add to our growing team!

We are a direct US-based employer. 😊

Our marketing team is looking for a candidate to complete video production tasks. Our ideal candidate for this role will also be motivated to learn new skills in the marketing and design field!

This is a full-time contractor position.

As a Video Editor, you will work closely with our Creative Director, design team, and marketing team to complete the following tasks:

- Design and edit videos for social media, blogs, and client websites.

- Create video content for digital marketing and social media.

- Give recommendations on enhancing video production deliverables.

- Edit and assemble raw footage into a cohesive and visually appealing narrative, both scripted and unscripted.

- Translate creative briefs, brand strategies, and business needs into high-impact, creative videos.

- Trim and arrange video clips, add transitions and effects to enhance the overall visual impact.

Required skills:

- Must display strong attention to detail.

- Creative ability with an understanding of visual composition and hierarchy.

- Ability to work independently with minimal direction.

- Ability to take suggestions and revise work with a positive attitude.

- Strong follow-through and time management skills.

- Experience with both long-form and short-form.

- Working knowledge of social media video editing (reels, TikTok)

- Must be a great team player with an enthusiastic attitude.

The ideal candidate will have experience cutting both short and long-form content.

- Solid knowledge of Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Photoshop, and DaVinci Resolve.

- Experience with editing music and sound, showing a strong understanding of the emotional power and structure of music.

- Excellent knowledge of color-correcting footage.

- You will be required to use your own computer for this position.
