Middle Automation QA Engineer

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our web applications, employing both automated and manual testing strategies.

Responsibilities:

- design, develop, and maintain automated and manual test suites for web applications
- collaborate with the development team to define, implement, and enhance the testing process
- analyze test results, identify and report defects, and track them to closure
- create and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts
- participate in project planning and requirements gathering, providing input on test strategy, scope, and timelines
- develop and maintain a deep understanding of our web applications and their underlying technologies
- continuously improve testing processes and tools to increase test coverage and efficiency

Requirements:

- 2+ years of experience in software quality assurance and testing
- experience with web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript
- experience with testing frameworks and tools such as Selenium, Playwright, or wdio
- knowledge of software development methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, or Kanban
- ability to write clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts
- strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- excellent verbal and written communication skills
- ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment

Preferred skills (will be an advantage):

- bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
- experience with performance and security testing
- experience with API testing
- experience with version control tools such as Git
- familiarity with Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) processes
