This is where you and your skills come in. We’re currently looking for: Release Manager to join our team.
As a Release Manager, you will work closely with key stakeholders to define the scope of projects and deliverables while leveraging project management concepts, practices and tools to coordinate functional teams in completing assigned projects. You will also be responsible for development and implementation of project plans, including managing the scope, schedules and resources for each assigned deliverable or project. Your strong collaboration skills are required to ensure that projects are clearly defined, managed and executed in a timely and effective manner.
Direct and manage projects (as Company-level releases as well as internal engineering projects).
Define project scope, goals and deliverables in collaboration with management and stakeholders.
Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools.
Identify and manage program critical path being mindful of upstream and downstream dependencies.
Set deadlines, assign responsibilities.
Provide overall resource and project coordination.
Monitor and track project status. Must be able to effectively identify and escalate potential issues in a timely manner.
Conduct project post mortems in order to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.
Ensure proper project documentation.
Minimum of 3 years of technical project management experience.
Experience managing complex projects in a large, high-loaded and distributed environment.
Experience in managing software deployment projects and project management methodology (PMI, PMBok).
Ability to negotiate deadlines and drive results.
Knowledge of and experience with change management models is preferable.
Independent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work well under pressure.
Strong sense of responsibility and ownership for the success of projects from inception to rollout and maintenance.
Fluency in English language (must have at least Intermediate level).
Bachelor’s degree is a plus.
Strong knowledge of JIRA is a plus.
Strong presentation skills are a plus.
Strong technical background is a plus.
