Business Analyst (offline)
Intevision is looking for an experienced experienced Business Analyst to join our team.
Customer:
Customer provides wide range of visual solutions for health and safety department at corporates – from essential standards to transforming company specific technical standards into fully integrated digital solutions. We help with developing a white-label solution in that each client would have its own skinned version of the site with its own content loaded. Different clients have different versions for their own organizations, which have their branding and contains their own unique pool of content. Currently the project is ongoing with the range of developed features. Client aims at moving into SaaS solution which is going to be a new stage of the project.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborating with various departments and stakeholders to gather, document, and analyse business requirements, processes, and workflows.
- Translating these requirements into functional specifications for dev team and work closely with project manager, developers, and testers to ensure successful project delivery.
1. Requirement Elicitation and Analysis:
- Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their needs, objectives, and challenges.
- Elicit, document, and analyze business requirements, processes, and workflows.
- Translate business requirements into clear functional specifications for technical team.
- Collaborate with technology team to design solutions that meet business needs. * Propose innovative and practical solutions to address business challenges.
- Ensure that proposed solutions align with the organization's strategic goals and technological capabilities.
2. Stakeholder Communication:
- Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and dev team.
- Present findings, recommendations, and project updates to stakeholders.
3. Documentation:
- Create detailed documentation including business requirements, process flows, and user stories.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
4. Project Management:
- Collaborate with project managers to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
- Assist in project planning, estimation, and resource allocation.
- Monitor project progress and identify potential risks or deviations from the plan.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst or in a related role
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's degree is a plus)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficiency in requirement gathering techniques, process modelling, and documentation
- Familiarity with project management methodologies and software development lifecycle
- Knowledge of relevant tools such as Microsoft Visio, JIRA, Confluence, etc
- Certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP, CCBA) is advantageous
- Experience with or knowledge how fix price projects work
