Junior Compliance Officer (Warsaw)

Requirements for the role:
-Law degree
-1+ years in a similar role
-A foundational understanding of gambling laws, regulations, and compliance concepts
-Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn and apply compliance principles
-Good communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively within a team and with other departments
-Basic proficiency in using Microsoft Office suite and willingness to learn relevant compliance software
-Ethical mindset and commitment to upholding integrity and compliance in all activities
-Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to a dynamic work environment
-Eagerness to stay informed about changes in gambling laws and regulations and their implications for compliance
-Willingness to take on routine tasks and assist in compliance activities as directed by supervisors
-Motivation to develop a successful career in compliance within the gambling industry, including a proactive approach to learning and professional growth
-Proficiency in English is a requirement
-Good knowledge Ukrainian
-Relocating to Warsaw or already being located in Warsaw will be considered an asset
-Knowledge of the Danish language will be considered an asset
-Experience in European-regulated markets will be considered an asset.

Main responsibilities:
-Assist in reviewing and updating compliance policies and procedures related to gambling regulations
-Conduct routine checks and assessments to ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and internal policies
-Focus on minor Anti-Money Laundering (AML) responsibilities as part of compliance efforts
-Help in maintaining organized documentation of compliance activities and reports
-Support in the preparation of compliance reports for senior review and regulatory submissions
-Collaborate with team members to provide compliance guidance and assistance in daily operations
-Stay updated on changes in gambling laws and share relevant updates with the team
-Assist in basic risk assessments and contribute to the development of risk mitigation strategies
-Participate in investigations of potential policy violations under supervision
-Assist in drafting compliance-related documentation, such as basic reports and training materials
-Learn and develop foundational skills for a career in compliance within the gambling industry
-Generally fulfilling any KPl’s which the company may indicate from time to time.
