Data Analyst ( Team Lead)

We are Vbet Ukraine – a bookmaker and organizer of gambling activities, the official representative of the VBET brand, which has been operating in the Ukrainian market since 2020. VBET was the first company in Ukraine to obtain all three licences for providing online gambling and betting services from the Commission for the Regulation of Gambling and Lotteries of Ukraine.

We are looking for an experienced and talented Analyst Lead to lead the company's analytics department. As a leader in analytics, you will have a unique opportunity to influence strategic decisions and company development.

Our main expectations are:

– At least 3 years of experience in managing an analytical department;
– University degree (economics, cybernetics, mathematics, finance, etc.)
– High level of strategic thinking and analytical skills;
– Excellent communication and leadership skills;
– Strong Python programming skills;
– Fluency in SQL to create queries from databases;
– Ability to professionally visualize data in Tableau;
– Professional knowledge of Excel;
– Attention to detail, ability to learn, experience with large data sets.

You will be tasked with:

– Manage and organize the work of the analytics department;
– Develop and implement an analytics strategy that meets the
company's goals;
– Conducting in-depth analyzes to identify trends, opportunities, and
risks;
– Creating reports of various levels of complexity for all the company's
needs;
– Forming a database of reports, creating new ones or improving existing
ones;
– Creating hypotheses and testing them;
– Active monitoring and analysis of trends in data analysis and
implementation of new methods and tools;
– Preparing reports for the CEO and head office;
– Ensuring high standards of ethics and data confidentiality during
analysis;
– Effective communication with other departments of the company to –
ensure mutual understanding and support of the analytical needs of
the business.
