QA Manual Engineer

What you will do: (Duties and Responsibilities)

-Conduct different levels of manual testing (Functional, System, Integration, Regression, etc.) and certify the software

-Develop standards and procedures to determine product quality and release readiness

-Analyze users stories and/use cases/requirements for validity and feasibility

-Convert story acceptance criteria (explicit and implicit) into test cases

-Detect and track software defects and inconsistencies

-Communicate clearly with the team about the defects

-Provide support and documentation for test artefacts/test-cases

-Collaborate with other team members and departments

-Provide analytical metrics about the tests, test coverage plan and inputs for improvement

Requirements and Qualifications

-At least 2+ years of experience as a Software quality assurance engineer or similar role

-Tools (some of these or similar) such as Postman, LoadRunner, Rest-Assured, SoapUI, VS Code, etc.

-Have the strong ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously

-Have in-depth ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision

-With a sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on the company’s success

-Critical thinker, problem-solving skills, detail oriented and independent thinker

-Great interpersonal and communication skills, a good team player
