PHP YII2 Developer (offline) $3000-3500

Project description:

Our customer is one of the most highly regarded retail energy suppliers of natural gas & electricity. It provides resourceful information that helps clients make informed utility decisions.
Company serves hundreds of thousands of residential and commercial customers in more than 30 Utility Service Areas in Connecticut, Columbia, Illinois, Massachusetts, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, and Pennsylvania.

Responsibilities:

Take part in the architecture design at the infrastructure and software layers of the product;
Write “clean”, well-designed code;
Troubleshoot, test, and maintain the core product software and databases to ensure strong optimization and functionality;
Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle;
Design and develop API systems;
Collaborate with team members on questions and decision-making.

Requirements:

4+ years of commercial development experience using PHP;
Experience with Yii2;
4+ years experience with MySQL;
Good experience with MariaDB;
Knowledge of SQL syntaxys;
Experience with MongoDB;
Strong knowledge of GraphQL;
Experience with Elasticsearch, RabbitMQ, Docker;
Experience in work with large volumes of data and optimization of queries and indexes;
Understanding Hexagonal architecture, patterns;
English level: Upper-intermediate and higher.

Will be a plus:

Experience with VueJS;
Knowledge of Node.js, NestJS;
knowledge of additional programming languages and frameworks.
