Manual Backend Testing Engineer

Location : EU

Responsibilities:

Testing of Java stream applications, including high-performance backend and Swing GUI frontend.
Conduct functional testing of server-side (back-end) applications, with a focus on testing back-end protocols, APIs, etc.
Utilize command line, Linux, and SQL for testing activities.
Learn and adapt to new domains quickly.
Analyze logs, work with various configurations, and XML files.
Possess knowledge and experience in SQL, with a preference for Oracle/PLSQL.
Familiarity with the FIX protocol is a plus.
Use UNIX-like operating systems for testing purposes.
Demonstrate proficiency in written English (B2-C1), and spoken English
Ability to quickly understand new business areas and requirements.
Knowledge or experience in the financial services domain is highly welcomed.
Requirements:

Prior experience in functional testing of server-side applications.
Proficiency in command line, Linux, and SQL.
Knowledge and experience in Oracle/PLSQL.
Familiarity with the FIX protocol.
Experience with UNIX-like operating systems.
Competency in logs analysis and working with various configuration and XML files.
Intermediate to higher level of written English.
Willingness to learn and adapt to new business areas.
Any knowledge or experience in the financial services domain is a significant advantage.
