ASO Team Lead / Head of ASO (offline)

About the role:

 

We’re looking for an experienced ASO manager with a Team Lead background who would be ready to take over the lead of our current project and ASO service overall.

 

We're looking for a person that:

- likes freedom of action but ready to hold on to given responsibility to deliver high results;

- is ready to take the lead not only in product growth but also in client management and service promotion;

- is eager to setup and scale the department from scratch.

 

 

As ASO manager, you'll be responsible for our client's accounts, and get involved in promoting Applica’s products alongside our marketing team.

 

Key Tasks:

 

- Develop & implement ASO strategies for clients

- Conduct keyword research & optimize app metadata

- Monitor & analyze app store performance metrics

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams

- Perform competitor analysis & identify opportunities

- Test & iterate on ASO strategies for improved rankings & conversions

- Provide regular reports & updates on ASO performance

 

As a Team Lead, you'll be responsible for building a team and processes of the service from scratch.

 

Key Tasks:

- Build ASO team (on demand)

- Participate in ASO events representing Applica

- Structure Applica processes and approach to work

- Build and grow ASO service awareness

 

Hard Skills:

 

- Min 2 years of ASO experience for subscription apps (organic downloads)

- Min 1 year of management and process building

- Knowledge of iOS & Android App Store ecosystems

- Familiarity with ASO tools (App Annie, Sensor Tower, etc.)

- Strong analytical skills

- A/B testing and optimization experience

- Strong communication skills

 

Soft Skills:

 

- English C1 proficiency

- Keen to learn

- Proactive and detail-oriented

- Provides own insights/ideas

- Autonomous and manages multiple projects

- Agency experience would be a plus
