REGULAR BUSINESS ANALYST (offline)

Responsibilities
The key objective of this role is to bridge the gap between the client's needs and the technical delivery team and to help successfully deliver projects within this diverse and challenging space. The Business Analyst will be heavily involved at all stages of the software delivery lifecycle from initial scoping and planning exercises through to the detailed analysis and collaboration with the IT team to deliver working software.

The Business Analyst will be required to work effectively with the Treasury team, Project Manager, other Business Analysts within the Treasury IT team and the IT vendor teams to successfully deliver projects.

The role requires an enthusiastic, pragmatic self-starter who wants to solve problems by delivering quality and cost-effective solutions through the employment of excellent business analysis techniques and functional domain knowledge.

Responsibilities:
• Defining and refining business cases in conjunction with Treasury as part of the Project initiation
• Challenging, capturing and articulating requirements according to the quality standards operating within the team
• Maintaining and managing the product backlog to ensure priorities are agreed and clear with Treasury
• Pro-active in identifying cost effective solutions to business problems
• Acting as the voice of the client throughout the development process
• Liaising with all parties (Treasury, Operations, IT delivery team) involved to ensure successful delivery
• Assisting and supporting QAT and UAT
• Ensuring agreed analysis deliverables are prepared according to deadline of the projects
• Mediating and resolving issues as and when they arise
• Close co-operation with other teams such as Finance and their IT teams to ensure strategic data sourcing is aligned
• Identifying areas where we can improve the analysis and delivery capabilities of the wider team
• Keeping aware of the latest industry trends and best practice in order to improve the team
Skills
MUST
Must Skills:
• Outstanding analysis skills comprising demonstrable experience of all aspects of analysis such as business process modelling, use cases/user story writing, data modelling, UML
• Experience in identifying and documenting client needs, internal structures, procedures, workflows and systems
• Comprehensive written and oral communication in English-speaking environment
• Comfortable working within a full project life cycle from initiation through to delivery
• Experience working on projects requiring data analysis, familiarity with SQL scripting, Reporting and Relational Database technologies
• Experience in project of building Data Warehouse, ETL process
• Basic knowledge of Finance, Liquidity Risk and Financial Instruments
• Basic knowledge of software development lifecycle and software development methodologies
• Educated to degree level
Desired Skills:
• Experience working within the Financial Industry, exposure to Risk Management and Issuance preferable
• Experience in working with BRMS;
• Experience of working with an agile methodology would be an advantage
• Experience in stakeholder management and building excellent professional relationships
• Experience in working with remote client and vendor resources
• Flexible - keen to learn new technologies and to extend business domain knowledge
• Good problem-solving skills
• Work to schedules, potentially across multiple projects and teams
• Pragmatic yet showing a high attention to detail
