Content Writer at a Fast-Growing Venture-backed Startup (offline)
This person should be able to learn new concepts fast and be able to apply them in content aimed at developers and IT managers.
Write tech articles and tutorials for the company’s blog about using Elasticsearch, Kibana, ELK stack, Kubernetes, Docker and related technologies
Write business-related content including e-books, press releases and marketing materials
Write copy for the website and emails as needed
Write scripts for videos as needed
Create visuals including screencasts, charts, and diagrams
Collaborate with the marketing team to improve SEO of the content
Publish and promote content via social media channels
Work closely with engineering, product and support teams to ensure the quality and accuracy of the produced content
Contribute to continuous improvement of documentation
Monitor competitor content and come up with new content ideas
Desired experiences and skills:
2+ years of experience as a content writer/blogger with the demonstrated interest in computer technologies, preferably cloud computing, Elasticsearch, ELK stack, Kibana, Linux containers, Kubernetes, Docker etc.
Some experience in programming language/s, Linux command line, and/or system administration
Basic ability to read and understand code
Comfortable using plain-text editors to author in Markdown and HTML
Experience using Wordpress or comparable CMS
Able to learn complex technical concepts fast
Able to test complex computer software and educate readers on its usage
Have strong writing, editing, and analytical skills.
Able to work independently, but also able to collaborate with other writers and developers
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English
A plus will be:
Good knowledge of cloud computing technologies, Docker, Kubernetes, Elasticsearch or related technologies
SEO and marketing skills
Excellent knowledge of English
Located in Kiev or Kharkov. High potential remote candidates will be considered
