Senior Data Engineer (offline)

As a Senior Data Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining the infrastructure and systems necessary for efficient and effective data processing within our organization. You will leverage your expertise in data engineering, software development, and data architecture to ensure the availability, accuracy, and reliability of data pipelines and analytical tools.

Qualification and experience:

4+ years of commercial experience as a Data Engineer or similar role, including solid experience in data pipeline development and data architecture design;
Strong skills in Python and SQL languages;
Proficiency with big data technologies (e.g., Apache Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, BigQuery, etc.);
Solid understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL/ELT concepts;
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and related data services;
Familiarity with database systems (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, NoSQL, etc.);
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills;
Strong communication and teamwork abilities;
Ability to lead and mentor junior data engineers;
Understanding of data security and privacy best practices;
Strong mathematical, statistical, and algorithmic skills;
A master’s or bachelor’s degree in computer science or similar.
