JavaScript developer_Angular 6 (Poland) (offline)

Currently we are looking for a Senior JavaScript Developer for our Krakow office to make the team even stronger.

We are looking for a Senior Front-End Software Engineer, who will develop front-end module of the application and seamlessly integrate it to existing platform. The ideal candidate has recent front-end hands on development experience and Angular knowledge/skills. The person should be responsible for the whole UI of the application, plan own work according to team plans.

ABOUT PROJECT
EPAM is currently building a new portfolio rebalancing application for a financial services/wealth management client. The application will allow our client to easily rebalance investment portfolios to target model portfolios in the most efficient manner possible. The application will calculate, generate, and propose market orders. The system is expected to support thousands of concurrent requests, be responsive and scalable. The application will include rebalancing algorithms, user interfaces, API integrations, and a services-oriented architecture. EPAM currently has an on-site team working collaboratively with the customer and is scaling multiple offshore teams located in Katowice to support this effort.

REQUIREMENTS
- Developer should have had good experience in JavaScript and Angular (version as latest as possible) and had delivered multiple projects in Angular.
- Should be able to go over existing code base and propose recommendations and best practices and patterns.
- Good debugging skills and basic SQL.
- Demonstrate ability to see the full picture end to end and not just the handoff from FE->BE or BE->FE but investigate the data in the DB model.
- Working experience consuming data from API’s and RESTful services.
- Good communicator and contributor with the ability to manage team and work closely with the Onsite Dev Manager.
