Sr Engineer - Java / AI / Lead (offline)

In this role you will…

- positively impact human lives by developing a platform offering free healthcare
- design algorithms to replicate and surpass reasoning capabilities of human medical doctors
- architect data structures holding medical knowledge
- collaborate with medical doctors, nurses and software engineers
- integrate with 3rd party systems and APIs
- design, implement and publish RESTful APIs
- help with building chatbots and our mobile app

You've got what it takes if you have…

- Production R&D experience with software projects
- Proficiency in server-side technologies such as Java, Spring, Spring Boot
- Experience consuming / publishing RESTful APIs
- Experience running and supporting internet-facing, production websites
- Experience setting up CI pipelines like Jenkins
- Operational knowledge of HTTP and the ability to troubleshoot problems anywhere across the stack
- Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
- Competence in design/implementation for reliability, availability, scalability and performance
- Cognizant of modern database/storage technologies
- Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token
- English at a level where you can comfortably read and write
- BS degree in a technical discipline or equivalent work experience

- Experience with Machine Learning, Deep Learning, AI, Data Science
- Working experience with one or more of Amazon Lex, botkit.ai, dialogflow.com, wit.ai, luis.ai, IBM Watson...
- Experience with Tensorflow, Pytorch etc.
- Experience with Bayesian software such as Stan or PyMC3
- Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML5 / CSS / JavaScript / NodeJS / React
- Experience with React Native
- Experience with Docker, AWS
