Shopify Frontend Developer (Junior+)

We’re looking for a skilled Shopify Frontend Developer with 1+ years of commercial experience to join our team.
 

At UTD, we create Premium Shopify Themes, work with modern technologies, and build high-quality eCommerce solutions for global clients. We are an official Shopify Partner and one of the top companies worldwide specializing in Premium Shopify Theme development.

For this role, we’re looking for a developer with a strong frontend foundation and solid commercial experience in Shopify theme development.
 

What you’ll work on

• Development and maintenance of Shopify stores
• Customization and improvement of Premium Shopify Themes
• Supporting existing client projects
• Contributing to new theme development in the future
• Code optimization, debugging, and performance improvements
   

Requirements

• 1+ years of commercial experience with Shopify
• Strong knowledge of:
  • Shopify Liquid
  • HTML / CSS / JavaScript
  • Git
  • BEM methodology
• Experience with Shopify theme development
• Understanding of speed/performance optimization
• Ability to work with existing codebases
• Self-QA mindset (we also have a dedicated QA team)
• Experience working in a team environment
• Responsibility, good time management, and attention to deadlines
• Experience with Hubstaff or other time-tracking tools is a plus

Hiring process

After the interview stage, selected candidates will be offered a paid trial period (2–4 weeks). Successful candidates will then receive a long-term contract offer.
