BI/ ETL Engineer (offline)

Responsibilities
Analyze high level business requirements and bring them down into business logic
Build and maintain different kinds of ETLs
Implement required business rules and validate the output data
Develop reports and dashboards to visualize ongoing and historic KPIs and metrics for different sides of our business
Join a team of data engineers to implement new features, including the data layer, business logic layer in SQL/Python/Java, and build required ETL flows/data pipelines for the same
Work with Marketing/Engineering/Business leadership teams to gather requirements and provide technical vision and long-term roadmap for the projects
Integrate with 3rd-party services to get and deliver data
Setting realistic time estimations and accountability for those goals
Being flexible and nimble to accommodate business needs
Influencing outcomes. Thinking big. Being paranoid. Speaking UP

Requirements
Professional production-level Software/Data Engineering/BI/ETL experience
Proficiency in writing SQL queries and familiarity with Data Warehouse systems or other transactional data stores
Comfortable working in an agile environment and directly with product owners and end users
Interest and aptitude in data, metrics, analysis
Experience with Spark, Databricks
(Bonus) Hadoop or other Big Data technologies
(Bonus) Engineering experience integrating with 3rd-party services

Required Experience
SQL, DB - Redshift, Postgres, MySQL, ETL - Talend, Informatica or similar
BI Reporting - Looker, Qlickview or similar
Git, AWS tools (S3, Glue, Lambda, Athena)
Python for Spark
Java (basics)
