Data Scientist Lead (offline)

Lead Data Scientist responsibilities include managing the data science team, planning projects and building analytical models. You should have a strong problem-solving ability and a knack for statistical analysis. If you’re also able to align our data products with our business goals, we’d like to meet you.


Requirements:

Analytical thinking and exploratory state of mind
Solid experience with high-loaded systems like Spark/Hadoop/Hive
A business mindset
Willingness to work with interesting, challenging and non-trivial tasks
Deep knowledge in: Probability Theory, Mathematical Statistics and Linear Algebra
Ability to work and create algorithms and data structures
Great experience in Python and SQL
Ability to process and analyze huge data volumes, ability to create and check hypothesis including data visualisation
Spark/Spark ML, Tensorflow, Keras, XGBoost
Would be a big plus: real production experience in Deep Learning

Responsibilities:

Manage a team of data scientists, machine learning engineers and big data specialists
Ensure data quality and integrity
Evangelize new technologies and embody data-driven culture
Design and implement ETL pipelines to support and scale models and analyses
Conceive, plan and prioritize data projects
Align data projects with organizational goals
Build analytic systems and predictive models
Hypothesis check by the means of different machine-learning algorithms
Create tasks for product developers
