DevOps Engineer

As a result of rapid growth and product expansion we are looking for a DevOps Engineer, who likes challenging tasks with outstanding and two steps ahead of the thinking model. We are completely open to new ideas because we are SaaS app and we must be better than our competitors.

Requirements:

— 4+ years of experience working as a System Engineer;
— 2+ years of experience working as a DevOps Engineer;
— Experience with cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure);
— Experience with IAC and configuration management tools (Terraform, Packer, Ansible);
— Experience with Jenkins or other CI\CD tools;
— Good knowledge of GIT;
— Good knowledge and hand-on experience with Linux-based operating systems (maintenance, troubleshooting);
— Good knowledge: PostgresSQL, OpenSearch stack, RabbitMQ, Nginx, Prometheus stack;
— Good knowledge: JVM, GraalVM (troubleshooting and performance tuning);
— Security fundamentals: secrets management, data encryption, network security, VPN, WAF, IDS, IPS, SIEM, SPF, DKIM, DMARC, SSL;
— Good communication skills in English and Ukrainian or Russian, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities:

— Collaboration with developers and business support;
— Doing regular operational tasks;
— Build automation pipelines via Jenkins through Terraform and Ansible;
— Participation in design reviews to ensure that operational objectives are included and addressed;
— Ensuring that the platform and infrastructure are in line with the security, coding standards, and best practices;
— Security and performance hardening;
— Participation in monitoring development and troubleshooting;
— Participation in monitoring infrastructure;
— Participation in monitoring security operations.
