Business Analyst

Nortal (ex Skelia) invites Business Analyst, to join our team for the client TUI — the subsidiary of the global tourism business giant!
The client’s aim is to build a new high-performance platform from scratch on AWS by leveraging principles such a serverless and domain driver design. To be able to accomplish this the client will act according to the Spotify model and putting ownership as much as possible in the team.

Mission
• As part of an empowered Scrum team you will be responsible for requirement analysis, clarifications, creating dashboards and reports
• Document and analyse business needs
• Collaborate with stakeholders, delivery managers and software engineers to reach a common understanding of the system features and functionality
• Deliver requirements to the engineering team in the right form and timeframe
• Support and interact with a team to deliver the best solution
• Understand customer’s products and systems, business models, processes and implement best practices

Requirements
• 3+ years of experience in a similar role
• Excellent analytical skills and commercial acumen. Adept at understanding complex problems and communicating findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Experience in working across multiple complex products/services/system domains
• Good knowledge in and experience with creating, analysing and validating detailed functional specifications and elements of systems design; including data rules, business rules, wireframes or other detailed deliverables that articulate how a business need should be satisfied
• Ability to understand technical concepts and designs with the ability to translate a technical architecture or solution into a set of requirements and user stories for delivery.
• A good understanding of agile/lean software delivery methodology, tools and techniques and the software development lifecycle including knowledge of Scrum and Kanban
• Strong level of written and spoken English
• Excellent communication skills
