About the project
You will join Web, Engagement global team at TUI responsible for the Web technologies across all holiday products and all TUI regions which owns several web applications that serve millions of users per year, generating billions in revenue for TUI. You will work with the multi-disciplinary team of experts across Architecture, Engineering, DevOps, and Agile Delivery who are located, and providing technical services, across the UK, Ireland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Belgium, and The Netherlands. The project is a web platform (Hybris) and the client’s strategy is to embrace new technologies to prepare for the future and deliver for the now. Client is looking at moving to Modular Architecture which will provide benefits to the way we work along with delivering faster and more efficiently for our business and customers.

Mission
You will use your deep technical skills to work with your team on defining, executing and maintaining efficient, highly automated test setups over the whole testing pyramid, from functional testing, integration and contract testing to performance and load testing
You are responsible for defining an appropriate testing strategy and ensuring the availability of suitable test data. You will also help to realise efficient solution for assuring quality where automation comes up against its limitations
You will also work with Product Owners to ensure testable feature specifications and champion approaches like test-driven development or behaviour-driven development. You can tackle the whole cycle of designing, building, testing and deploying software and contribute to increasing automation

Requirements
Deep and practical knowledge of and expertise in quality assurance practices, tools and methods in an agile context and at scale
Strong technical prowess in all quality assurance areas including automation, functional, contract, integration, performance, and load testing as well as software engineering practices like BDD and TDD
Hands-on experience with modern data storage systems (e.g. S3, Snowflake)
Strong SQL and data profiling skills; hands-on ELT experience using tools like Streams and Tasks or DBT
Strong visualization skills (e.g. Tableau)
Good experience with AWS, CI/CD, preferably Gitlab CI
Customer centric, passionate about delivering great digital products and services
Passionate about continuous improvement, collaboration, and great teams
Upper-intermediate or higher level of spoken and written English
