Bookaway Group - Senior Backend Developer (only Georgia)

On behalf of Bookaway Group, SD Solutions is looking for a Senior Software Developer (.Net) to join new core R&D organization, "The Hub."

As a part of the initial team, you will work with experienced software engineers and architects to design and build Bookaway Group's brand-new core business and technology infrastructure. You will be involved in all aspects of the new system's development and will have a significant impact on its success.

Responsibilities:

Build an efficient back-end central complex infrastructure from the scratch.
Build web services, APIs in a high load, high availability production environment.
Deploy system to production weekly.
Write high-quality code.
Test if new features are implemented efficiently.
Troubleshoot and debug problems.
Stay updated about top-notch technologies and best practices.
Be involved in all aspects of the new system's development and have a significant impact on its success.

Requirements:

5+ years of software development experience (.Net Core).
3+ years of cloud infrastructure knowledge (preferably AWS) as a back-end developer.
Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and deployment.
Working knowledge of C# and .Net Core framework.
Strong knowledge of system architecture, best practices and design patterns (Caching, Queuing).
Experience building high-scale backend systems, web services, APIs and maintaining them in a high load, high availability production environment.
Knowledge of database and data store systems (Mongo DB, MySQL, PostgreSQL).
Excellent communication skills, and good English.
A team player attitude with a can-do approach is essential.
