Our client is an independent wealth management firm that offers customized portfolio solutions in diversified alternatives such as private equity, private debt, real estate, and more.

About the role:
We are looking for an experienced Data Architect to join our growing team. As a data architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing data architecture solutions that meet our organizational needs. You will work closely with business stakeholders and IT teams to ensure that our data architecture meets our needs, that it is scalable, and aligns with our technology strategy.

Location: Manama (Bahrain), office. The company is ready to help with relocation.

Requirements:
✅A Master's degree preferably in business, IT, engineering or digital discipline and 5–10 years of work experience.
✅5+ years of experience in software development, data management and documented architecture experience.
✅Delivery experience implementing enterprise-wide data and analytic solutions with market-leading tools and want to continue to learn.
✅Experience in multiple database technologies such as distributed processing big Data platforms, preferably in the Azure tech stack leveraging Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks and Azure Synapse. ✅Other tools like Spark, Kafka, Snowflake, GCS Data Proc Apache Beam/ Flink, Python/ PySpark are beneficial but not strictly required.
✅You are highly competent with data modeling and have expertise in data governance, data quality, Master Data Management, and data lineage.
✅You can work independently and are communicative, open, flexible and team-oriented.
✅Fluent in English.

Responsibilities:
🔹 You analyze data systems/ processes and conduct assessments regarding analytical adoption and future design.
🔹 You question how things work, seek needed information to understand, and look for creative and simple evidence and solutions.
🔹 As a technologist, you are focused on data and architecture to lead concept development, designing, and implementing solutions.
🔹 As a Data Architect, you assume responsibility for supporting IT business architecture initiatives and overseeing the implementation and delivery of complex business and IT transformations.
🔹 You can support teams with all implementation activities, including hands-on development utilizing technology solutions and adhering to best practices.
🔹 You work with data engineers, developers, other architects, and technologists on the technical, integration and use of data solutions - spanning data management, integration and ETL/ELT, with the goal of discovering insights and improving business results.
🔹 Implementation of the solution will be together with our specialized teams. You understand, how to set up agile ways of working with distributed teams and integrate governance processes.
🔹 You apply and continue to learn best-practice technologies and approaches for both strategic and implementation work.
