Project Description

The customer is an Israeli multinational pharmaceutical company.

The Enterprise program is a significant transformation initiative for the customer. It involves implementing consistent, industry-standard business processes supported by integrated systems (SAP-based enterprise solutions) across company sites worldwide. This large-scale, global program implementing in over 60 countries and 70 plants.

This position is for an IBM MFT/MQ expert, within the customer Application Infrastructure team in the Global Infrastructure unit.
He/She will be ultimately working on all customer’s MFT/MQ activities across the globe including designing solutions, setting best practices, working with IT Security and other IT units/customers, developing new requirements, working on patching and upgrades as per needs and supporting production interfaces

Responsibilities

MFT/MQ Senior Admin responsibilities include but not limited to the following:
Apply proven communication, analytical and problem-solving skills to help develop new integration needs, identify, communicate and resolve issues, problems in order to maximize the returns on IT and Business investments.
Review and translate functional designs into technical solutions for new requirements / Change Requests
Support and troubleshooting of MFT and infrastructure issues. Knowledge of gateways, agents and file transfer logging
Enforces best practices for security and reliability across IT
Work closely with IT business, IT Infrastructure, Integration teams, SAP ,and boundary system development teams
Occasionally provide after-hours support.

Requirements

Education and Professional experience Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of proven experience with various MFT components and MQ Queue Managers (MFT agents, Agent and Coordination Queue Managers, Monitors, Template files, etc.) is mandatory
Hands on experience with ANT scripting and how it is incorporated into MFT
Experience with IBM MQ infrastructure required to provide the underpinning for MFT across various platforms
Strong knowledge of high-availability, load-balancing and failover configurations across application, infrastructure, and platform components
Understanding of MFT Agent HA configurations
General familiarity with networking, security and automated deployments
Understanding of security design for enterprise software systems
Able to work independently as an expert, or under the guidance of Architect/Lead
Experience on integration of MFT\MQ with DataPower a plus
CI/CD tools (JIRA, GitHub, Jenkins etc.) knowledge a plus
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science
