Transifex, a Greek-born company, internationally recognized by today’s tech leaders as a leading agile translation management solution, is seeking an experienced Backend Software Engineer with a strong technical background and experience in an interactive development process.

This person will be a contributor to the success of Transifex's customers, including Atlassian, Quora, Eventbrite, Trello, Hubspot and Asana, that rely on Transifex to achieve a truly multilingual, global presence.

Requirements:
- Proficiency in HTML/HTML5, CSS/CSS3 and Less or Sass.
- Strong programming abilities in Javascript.
- Solid knowledge of React. GraphQL is a plus.
- Write well-structured, maintainable and highly-performing code.
- Experience with design patterns and code architecture.
- Unit testing.
- UX/UI familiarity is a plus.

Responsibilities:
- Engineers work in the scope of a team that takes requirements or problems, provides solutions, and evolves our product.
- Individual tasks might be from small requests, changing a backend view to provide additional data to the frontend views, creating new features, resolving some product issues, and being part of bigger initiatives like creating a full service that integrates with Transifex. Our components have team ownership, but we want everyone to have the opportunity to work on the whole product.
