Regular Java Engineer (with AWS and oncall support) (offline)

The team developing and supporting Product data for the Company Analytical Platform.

Project Description:

Project's domain includes information about products (SKUs, styles and etc.), vendors (brands, partners and etc.), organizations (stores, divisions and etc.) and prices. Working in this team will allow you to work with BigData tools within distributed team.
The main goal is to organize all data related tasks across the domain: allocation, transferring, processing and storage.

Responsibilities:
- Investigation and resolution of production incidents
- Participation in development (30% time)
- Existing code refactoring
- Interact with various departments on the task research in complex environment
- Describe the issues investigation results and resolutions in Slack and Confluence
- Devops responsibilities & knowledge of devops tools

Mandatory Skills Description:
- 3 years of experience with Java 8-11+
- Spring Framework
- Experience with Cloud Services (AWS)
- Kafka or any other messaging tool
- Practical usage of Kubernetes
- expertise with SQL and/or DWH
- Experience with Linux system(s)
- Experience with version control, build, CI/CD tool (Git/GitLab, Docker)
- Experience with JIRA, Confluence
- Familiarity with Agile development methodology (Scrum)
- Clear communication skills (will communicate across all regions)

Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience with Teradata, Elastic Search or Airflow
- Knowledge with Big Data
- Kinesis
- New Relic
- Splunk
- Apache Airflow

Languages:
English: B2 Upper Intermediate
