Senior Front-end Developer for TripAdvisor (offline) $6000-6800

We are looking for a Front-end Software Engineer to join the engineering team and help us envision, design, and build the technical systems to deliver highly visible, high-impact travel project.

About the project

TripAdvisor runs one of the world’s largest travel websites, inspires and empowers people to explore the world with confidence, and share their trip experiences with others.
The product is a large-scale program that spans both web and native apps, and you will have the ownership and autonomy to build the supporting technical systems in partnership with the product management, analytics, and machine learning teams.

Skills & Experience
- At least 4 years of experience developing in JavaScript and React.
- Solid knowledge of Next.js and Typescript
- Management of Graphql/REST services.
- Solid knowledge in HTML5, CSS3 and Javascript
- At least basic AWS experience, ideally with some serverless knowledge using Lambdas.
- Database management with MySQL or similar relational databases.
- Control of versions with Git.
- Experience in responsive web design, browser compatibility and multiple support to devices.
- Follow up on Good Practices in development (unit tests, documentations, etc.)

Nice to have
- Chakra-UI experience
- PHP experience
- Knowledge in Node.js.

Responsibilities:
- You will join to Content Experience team which partners with the company's editorial branch to operate content-rich areas of the site (articles, reviews, etc) as well as backing tools (CMS, image library, etc)
- Work with a highly skilled engineering team in all phases of the Agile development process from design through deployment;
- Design, develop, and maintain high scale, highly performant data processing and interface solutions;
- Work with quality assurance, release engineering and product management to deliver quality software;
- Take the initiative in the development process and working atmosphere improvements, be proactive in suggesting new vision and approaches to the platform development; anticipate in problems or issues solutions that may arise.
