Linux System Admin (offline)

Overview
Mellanox Technologies is looking for a Linux System Administrator/IT DevOps to join the Engineering IT team.

Responsibilities
The responsibilities of the new hire include labs Linux-based and virtualization infrastructure management, configuration, design, ongoing maintenance and troubleshooting, and ongoing documentation of systems and procedures. In addition, the candidate will be responsible for IT DevOps automation writing, managing and running projects.

Qualifications
Hands on experience in Linux troubleshooting with good problem solving skills
Experience with various operating systems and virtualization environments: Linux flavors, VMware, KVM, Xen, etc.
Familiarity with the installation and configuration of Web servers, databases, and application services
Ability to code well in Python and Bash – a must
Experience of network services such as BIND, DHCP, NFS, NIS, RADIUS, SMTP, SNMP, etc.
Ability to handle several tasks in parallel, effectively prioritize and execute in a high-pressure environment
Experience with LDAP, Apache, Nginx, MySQL/PostgreSQL, GIT, Gerrit, Jenkins
Experience with CM tools, Ansible/Puppet/Salt etc.
Good communication skills, project leading skills, team player
Good English written and verbal communication skills


Advantages:
Sc. in an engineering field.
5+ years of experience.
Experience with network management
Experience with Windows based operating systems
Experience with Go/Perl/PHP/PowerShell
Solid hands on experience with Docker
Knowledge of storage systems such as NetApp, EMC, Oracle ZFS
Able to work independently.
