Chief technology officer (experienced in Fintech) (offline)

Areas of responsibility and goals of work:
- You are responsible for the technological development of the company, and therefore for its future. Organization, management, and support of one of the key functions in the company: high-quality Technology & Software Development and Delivery in the area of Mobile Financial Services for business customers worldwide, for mass markets, and with high-load technologies (telecom, banks, and financial institutions, network retailers).
- To take the company to the next product & technology level, taking into account that currently, the company has 15 live b2b projects on the board and potentially 35-50 during the next 2-3 years.
- Be the "face" of the company regarding technology in negotiations with clients (participation in the pre-sale and delivery processes), participants, investors, and shareholders. Participation in conferences as a speaker (in particular, about the technologies and products of the Company).


Description of responsibilities:

Team management

Building and maintaining the team, organizational and functional structure.
To be the team leader in the quality review of all projects and architectural patterns.
Management of division’s staffing (resource management; hiring / dismissing team members; team performance monitoring and reporting; team members motivation; maintaining team capacity; team coaching and mentoring; tasks estimations and review; backlog management).

Technology&Product

- Company technology vision development and implementation;
- Product defining and improvement and technology description;
- Leading the implementation of cutting-edge technologies and industry
best practices;
- Control the tasks so that the Product and its demo meet business
requirements.

Processes

Agile routines management: Standups, Grooming, Retrospectives; Kanban board management.

You will define the Company's Strategy and build overall company management

Requirements:

- Responsible and reliable manager with strong leadership and organizational skills; - Business and customer oriented. Understanding the customer's needs;
- Ability to work in a cross-functional team on an executive level and under strong deadlines;
- Conflict tolerance, problem-solving and quick decisions making skills; - Excellent verbal and written communication in English;
- Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Computer Science;
- 10+ years of practical experience in software development;
- 5+ years working in a technological role as a CTO, Solutions Architect; - 3+ years of Managerial & People management experience;
- Solid knowledge of software architecture and infrastructure;
- In-depth knowledge of the technology stack in the areas of front-end(JS) or backend (PHP);
- Understanding of Software Architecture Design patterns, Algorithms & Data Structures;
- Understanding of:
● High Load approaches;
● Data Management approaches;
● Software Deployment strategies, CI/CD, Quality gates approaches; ● Cloud, On-prem, Hybrid deployments, Virtualization, and Containerization; ● Engagement models, Project P&L, including SLA (Client Support).

- Understanding of:
