Lead Data Scientist (offline)

As part of this exercise renovation of technology landscape taking place across Company. As a partner we support our client in this journey and help to develop from scratch new applications for various departments (Supply Chain, Product Lifecycle Management, Finance, HR etc.). Our teams are responsible for development of platform components in Agile environment together with client, based on event based Microservices architecture. As a developer you will work in team of professionals in your Country and collaborate with experts from all over the world to develop modern high loaded application in Cloud environment.

Key people and teams to work with:
 Members of Product team (Product Managers, Business Stakeholders, Engineers, TPMs, Data Scientists)
 Members of the Data Science and Analytics community
 Academics and external experts

Responsibilities:
- Work end-to-end on Data Science developments, contributing to all aspects of the project lifecycle
- Understand difficult business problems and prototype solutions
- Analyse and link complex datasets so that they may be learned from or optimised
- Scientifically analyse and evaluate the effectiveness of different approaches to guide future development and track the value created by the team
- Build mathematical models on top of big data architectures to gain deep insights into opportunities to improve the customer experience
- Partner with technology teams to productionise developments
- Communicate complex solutions in a clear, understandable way to non-experts

Mandatory Skills Description:
- More than 8 years in NLP and machine learning
- Experience in chatbots
- Expertise in at least one technical domain (e.g. machine learning, simulation, optimisation, forecasting, NLP, econometrics etc)
- Experience with different programming languages and a high level of capability in at least one language - Python, Scala, Java, (or similar)
- Understanding of common data structures and algorithms. Understanding of time and space complexity
- Experience of leading Data Science project developments involving multiple stakeholders
- Experience of delivering high impact Data Science developments within complex organisations
- Experience of partnering with technology teams to productionize your developments and roll out at scale
