German multinational automotive parts manufacturing company specializing in brake systems, interior electronics, automotive safety, powertrain and chassis components, tachographs, tires and other parts for the automotive and transportation industries. Project is structured into six divisions: Chassis and Safety, Powertrain, Interior, Tires, ContiTech, ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems). It is headquartered in Hanover, Lower Saxony. Project is the world's fourth-largest tire manufacturer.

Details on tech stack
* Familiarity with microprocessor/DSP-based hardware designs, and Software Architecture for automotive designs;

* Familiarity with development in the embedded environment.


Min requirements to the candidate
* Minimum 6 years of experience in the embedded software industry, minimum 4 years automotive ECU Base SW Development
* Excellent knowledge of Automotive Platform Software, Autosar, and operating systems (QNX, Embedded Linux, OSEK, RTOS, ...)
* Hands-on experience in Software development for at least one of the Automotive Domain ECUs like IVI, ADAS, and Telematics.
* Solid knowledge of Automotive standards, processes & Tools like ISO26262, ASPICE, etc.
* Basis knowledge of common ECU/SoC hardware platforms
* ASPICE experience

What tasks the candidate will work with?
* Feature design and requirement engineering following a top-down approach;

* System engineering design and peer review;

* Hosting/supporting SOA and software architecture design activities with respective domains;

* Supporting software developers with detailed design and related activities;

* Plans and monitors SYS.3 work plan for all product releases and program increments (PIs);

* Analyzes and structure system capabilities and features based on the system requirements;

* Analyzes and document system design alternatives;

* Aligns architecture strategies with Project/Platform Owner;

* Aligns system architecture with the stakeholders;

* Allocates system requirements of any given product release to physical and logical architecture elements in advance of scheduled feature development for that release;

* Responsible for the architecture toolchain;

* Definition of logical and physical product system architecture and actively driving the integration of SW, HW, and ME by defining and aligning logical & physical interfaces;

* Defines system interfaces (internal and external);

* Defines CPE/CQE tester design;

* Stakeholder of the Program Increment planning, system demos, and retrospectives.
