Head of Engineering (offline)

About the work :

WAND AI engineers are Kubernetes experts, develop cutting edge technologies, and strive to get the best user experience and efficiency for our customers.
In this role you will take a main part in defining and developing the WAND AI platform.

About the project :

WAND AI mission is to make business-centric AI easy to use, safe, and accessible to everyone

Our platform enables business users to build and run AI applications safety, quickly, and efficiently – all codeless, self-serviced.

Requirements :

-Startup experience (preferably in the executive team).
-Managing at least 30 people.
-Experience with large-scale SaaS systems.
-Expert in Python and development methodologies with application to SaaS BE (clean code, frameworks, API design, etc.)
-Technical stack: Python, (SQL, NoSQL, search engines, big data tools, object stores). PostgreSQL and ElasticSearch, Kubernetes, CI/CD and GitOps methodologies, GCP/AWS/Azure, etc.
-Fluent English.

As an advantage :

-JavaScript/TypeScript, React, APIs (gRPC, REST, GraphQL, SQL).
-B.Sc in computer science or a related field.
-Experience with ML productization.

-Participate in recruiting, interviewing, hiring process to attract talents.
-Mentor and guide the professional and technical development of your team members. Help develop their careers and assign them to projects tailored to their skills, personalities, work styles, and professional goals.
-Ensures that the team delivers high-quality products and solutions by following the best practices.
Instill a spirit of continuous improvement in the team’s code, architecture, and processes.
-Work with BE, FE , DevOps, etc. to maintain focusing on improving ways of performing while scaling the business, etc.
