DevOps Engineer (offline)

Requirements:

— Familiarity with various operating systems and platforms;
— 1+ years of experience administrating Linux systems in a customer facing production environment;
— Experience with networks (LAN, WAN) and patch management;
— Advanced virtualization experience;
— Strong shell scripting;
— Knowledge of system security;
— Ability to provide direct server support for various operations such as deployment and general production;
— Familiar with docker, docker-compose;
— Experience with search engines (e.g. Sphinx, Solr, ElasticSearch) and caching (e.g. varnish, redis, memcache);
— CI/CD Pipeline Automation using Jenkins;
— Logs & Monitoring Tools: Experience with system logging & monitoring tools (e.g. Kibana, ElasticSearch);
— Version Control: Experience administrating version control systems;
— Understanding and experience load balancing;
— Resourcefulness and problem-solving aptitude.

Resposibilities:

— Build and configuration servers;
— Install and configure project needed software;
— Monitor performance and maintain systems according to requirements;
— Troubleshoot existing information systems for errors and resolve them;
— Ensure security through access controls, backups, firewalls and etc;
— Creation of CI/CD pipeline scripts;
— Assist dev team in server issues.
