QA Lead (offline)

We are looking for someone who will handle complex tasks. Can lead/manage a small to medium team

A Staff Quality Engineer usually leads/manages a team of up to 10 members

QA Activities:
— Managing QA-part in decomposition process (requirements testing with checklist creation; delegation)
— Quality control through writing tests, creating test strategies, and controlling coverage in their block
— Active participation in PI plannings
— Managing QA-team load alongside with PM and the whole team (capacity / load alignment)
— Ownership of test documentation: creating and updating process
— Implementation and support of known bugs triaging
— Ownership delivery alongside with PM, PO, Architect and other leads
— Regular team QA-syncs with AQA
— Tasks delegation
— Customers issues monitoring process
— Participating in release process as Release QA
— Participating in solutions development as Solution QA
— Planning the release cycle backlog with the team
— Informing stakeholders about breaking system changes and high priority quality risks
— Writing test documentation
— On-call (customers issues, release problems, sos-cases investigation)

Team Management:
— Regular one-to-one meetings with the team
— Knowledge sharing in the technical and domain area
— On-boarding new members
— Creating Personal Development Plans
— Participation in annual technical review
— Conducting technical interview with new team members
— Participation in meetings to synchronize work between departments
— Assignment (approvement) of bonuses

— +5 years’ experience in manual testing;
— Experience as QA-lead position at least 2 years
— Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes
— Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
— Versed with both Backend (Logic) Testing as well as frontend (Web and API)
— Knowledge and understanding of the full software development lifecycle
— Experience with Agile development methodologies (SAFE will be a plus)
— Understanding of Continuous Integration, Continuous Deployment, Test Driven Development;
— Experience with Allure-EE will be a plus
