Senior Cloud Engineer

Location: Remote(Ukraine), Poland (Krakow), Portugal (Lisbon), UK (London)

We're looking for Cloud DevOps Engineers to be a part of our Platform Team who will be responsible for the architecture, availability, reliability and observability of PMI's Landing Zone, with main focus on applying software engineering practices to build new capabilities, improve the existing services and remove toil.

Your day-to-day
• Apply software engineering practices to build and maintain a multi-account/region environment
• Manage and improve self service platform for DevOps product teams
• Design, build and operate a Hybrid/Multi region Landing Zone
• Architect, build and operate new solutions based on internal customer needs
• Adopt cutting-edge technologies on challenging initiatives
• Design & develop curated building blocks (Terraform modules, AMI’s)

Who are you?
• An IT professional with Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Computer Science/Software Engineering (or similar) with appropriate experience
• 4+ years proficient AWS Cloud Engineer

What is needed to succeed in this Role?
• Experience in design and implementation of AWS cloud solutions
• Experience with at least one modern programming language (Python, Go, Node.js)
• Experience with IaC - Terraform
• Knowledge of Cloud Security
• Ability to think outside the box, looking at creating reusable building blocks
• English: Intermediate and higher

Additional experience that we’ll value:
• Experience as a software or infrastructure engineer
• Experience in Linux and networks administration/troubleshooting
• Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet or Chef
• Experience with monitoring tools like CloudWatch/Prometheus/ELK
