Our project increases one of the teams and is looking for Lead SRE.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related fields, or significant professional DevOps or SRE experience
5+ years of previous experience as a developer or SRE with operational responsibilities
Proven experience responding on-call to incidents with superior knowledge of incident response processes
Strong skills and experience working with Kubernetes inside and out
Strong skills and experience working with infrastructure as code tools, such as Terraform
Solid programming skills and experience with or an ability to quickly become proficient in Go
Familiarity with container systems such as Kubernetes & Docker
Ability and willingness to be on-call
Nice to have:
Experience with building Automation and modules for CI/CD pipelines.
Programming skills in developing automation modules on Python/Bash.
Understand virtualization system - Vmware vSphere.
Experience with Azure infrastructure solutions.
Monitoring systems like (Prometheus+Grafana) and analyze logs system ELK (ElasticSearch + Logstash + Kibana).
Basic understand RabbitMQ, Redis and Kafka features and how services can communicate each other.
Team lead role experience (for team 8-10 people)
Hight communication skills. Be an active participant in the discussion with the customer and determine the requirements and how to draw up a list of tasks for the team.
Experience with mentoring junior team members
Quick problem analysis skills.
Ability to prioritize. Conduct presentations and trainings for other teams and take an active part in drawing up a work plan for team members.
Working in shifts with team starting from 16:00 till 01:00.
Leading a team that works in shifts 24/7.
Provide technical mentorship for fellow engineers
Develop services to handle automatic recovery from incidents and disasters
Set technical vision and innovate to be on the forefront of self-healing SaaS services
Deploy applications to and manage Kubernetes clusters
Participate in our on-call rotation to respond to incidents and resolve problems.
Define infrastructure as a code with IaC tools like Ansible
