Data Quality Engineer (third-party logistics company) (offline)

As a Data Quality Engineer, you will be a member of an agile team environment and you will learn, practice, and drive the quality best practices we use that help make our software the industry leader. Coordination, planning, execution, automation scripting, and driving root cause and corrective actions are only a few of the many activities your work will entail.

Requirements:
• Strong mathematical skills to help collect, measure, organize and analyze data.
• Knowledge of SQL and Python.
• Technical proficiency in database design development, data models, techniques for data mining, and segmentation.
• Proficiency in statistics and statistical packages like Excel, SPSS, and SAS to be used for data set analysis.
• Experience with data visualization software like Tableau or QuickSight.
• A fondness for good board games and/or video games (bonus points for Metroid).
• A love of The Lord of the Rings (books or movies, your choice).

Responsibilities:
• Managing master data, including creation, updates, and deletion.
• Providing quality assurance of imported data and championing initiatives for data integrity and normalization.
• Generating reports from single or multiple systems and conducting analysis.
• Managing and designing the reporting environment, including data sources, data sets, security, and metadata.
• Assessing tests and implementing new or upgraded software and assisting with strategic decisions on new systems.
• Troubleshooting the reporting database environment and reports.
• Evaluating changes and updates to source production systems.
