Middle/Senior DevOps with AWS, Online Gaming Platform (Poland)

DataArt is looking for a seasoned DevOps Engineer for one of our projects.

Client
Our client is the world leader in online gaming services. Their business is developing in several directions, most prominent ones are a betting exchange and online games (casino, poker, bingo). The betting center and the bookmaker run on their own software. The company's web services have mobile versions and native applications for iOS and Android and are used by more than two million players from 50 countries.

Position Overview
You will be highly proficient working with business stakeholders and directing project teams and will have direct experience of a range of Build and Deployment Automation solutions.
You will have experience and a proven track record of automating, deploying and maintaining enterprise level solution environments on secure and distributed on premise platforms.
As a DevOps Engineer you have extensive working experience in an IT infrastructure role with strong background in Linux and Cloud administration.

Technology Stack
Cloud services (AWS, Google Cloud); Docker and Kubernetes; build systems (Apache Ant/Mode/Maven); Jenkins; Git; Linux, VMware; Kafka and RabbitMQ; SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (Cassandra, Redis, MongoDB); TSDB (InfluxDB, Prometheus, Clickhouse) and ElasticSearch; monitoring tools (TICK stack, Prometheus, ELK stack); scanning software (Veracode, SonarQube/IQ Server).

Requirements
- Extensive working experience in an IT infrastructure role with strong background in Linux development toolchain (i.e. rpm, yum) and Cloud administration
- Interest in open source technologies and experience of using wide variety of such tools
- Experience with VMware virtualized environments, mostly server virtualization and software defined networking
- Involvement in planning deployments and improvements to CI/CD pipelines
- Strong experience with Docker, Kubernetes and container management
- Experience in coding and scripting (mostly Python, Java and Bash)
- Familiarity with Apache and Nginx web servers running and configuring along with caching and message queuing applications (Redis, RabbitMQ, Kafka)
- Experience in networking and monitoring tools (TICK stack, Prometheus, ELK stack)
- High proficiency working with business stakeholders and directing project teams
- Direct experience of a range of Build and Deployment Automation solutions
- Experience and a proven track record of automating, deploying and maintaining enterprise level solution environments on secure and distributed on premise platforms
- Knowledge of and experience with cloud services (AWS, Google Cloud)
- Automation/configuration management experience using either Salt, Puppet, Chef, or an equivalent
- Experience with build systems (Apache Ant/Mode/Maven)
- Strong knowledge of Jenkins structure and uses
- Knowledge of Git and versioning software
- Experience with messaging middleware (specifically, Kafka and RabbitMQ)
- Knowledge of SQL in general and PostgreSQL, MySQL specifically
- Good spoken and written English

Nice to have
- Experience working with Atlassian products (Crowd, Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket Server, Bamboo, HipChat)
- NoSQL experience, such as Cassandra, Redis and MongoDB is a plus
- Knowledge of scanning software such as Veracode, SonarQube or IQ Server
- Being certified in Linux, VMware and good knowledge of Mac OS X is a strong asset
